The oil spill has reached well over 80 billion gallons and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. Many efforts have been made to contain the spill but this time it looks like they just dug too deep and got in over their heads, so to speak :-(

Despite the many efforts made to protect the wildlife, some animals just can't escape the swallowing oil sludge that is moving further and further into sea and reaching shores hundreds of miles away.

- they say there is so much oil coming out of the leak that even the supertankers are running out of storage space and cannot collect it fast enough...

I certainly hope that they can get this spill under control before too much more damage is done and more wildlife is damages...
